Reem Z. Renno, MD

Reem Z. Renno, MD has been on staff at 1960 Eye Surgeons since 2005.

Dr. Renno completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute/ UCLA with a focus on oculo-plastic, thyroid eye diseases and reconstructive orbital surgeries.

Prior to that she had completed a medical research fellowship in Medical retina in Boston at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School with a focus on Age-related Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy.

 

Dr. Renno has received many honors and awards (Alpha omega Alpha, Fight-For-Sight, Retina Research Foundation, Macula Society and Foundation Fighting Blindness Fellowships). She has authored articles in peer-reviewed journals, wrote many book chapters and delivered talks nationally and internationally.

Dr. Renno is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The Consumer’s research council of America lists her as one of America’s Top Ophthalmologists.
