Zane Anwar, MD

Zane Anwar, MD is board certified diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and medical doctorate degree both at the University of Miami.

Dr. Anwar completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and completed a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian. He has practiced ophthalmology for approximately 10 years and has performed over 2,000 ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, pterygium surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Anwar uses the latest treatments and technologies to treat a wide scope of eye conditions including cataract, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. He has served a wide scope of patient populations through his training and career and is fluent in medical Spanish.
